In addition to working with adults, the needs of young people are also catered for. Young people are the future of our society and deserve to be enriched, nourished and fulfilled to become their greatest self. WIth the right guidance, space, encouragement, tools and techniques the sky's the limits to who they can become as a person and what they can achieve. All are welcome regardless of race, socio-economics or faith promoting a healthier, happier all inclusive environment for the young people to thrive, grow and experience the diverse greatness this world has to offer. Due to the technological world we live in, services are provided on a global scale for all young people to benefit from regardless of their residency.
Although young people may have gone through turbulent times, Building Bricks Coaching understands they were born with greatness awaiting to be birthed. Through transformational coaching work is done with the young people from the ages of 10-17. There is a great benefit for young people to have transformational self development life coaching services, regardless of what part of the spectrum they are at. Great tools and methodologies that are taught can be implemented as preventative measures for those at risk, within rehabilitation or victors. Reinforcing the importance of mindset will give an understanding of how it determines the choices and actions that are taken. This is essential in curtailing the amount of young people who go through the criminal justice system and those who have been affected by injustice.
According to 2021-2022 Gov.uk Youth Justice statistics for England and Wales 13,800 were cautioned or sentenced with 31.2% reoffending.1 At the end of April 2023 there were 458 children in custody—11 children were aged 14 or younger.2 A mass amount of young people in custody come from a care background3 reinforcing the fact of vulnerability and interconnection of social care and the Criminal Justice System (CJS).
Young victors of crimes very rarely report it to the police, only 13% of violent offences and 15% of thefts are reported by young victims. Additionally among reviewed accounts of childhood sexual abuse show only 5–13% of victims reported this to an adult at the time let alone the police.4 So with this in mind there is an appreciation that there are young people globally who would also benefit from our services, striving towards the future and becoming their best self unapologetically.
It is well understood that there are those who are not under social care, haven't been arrested, cautioned or experienced prison, yet fallen through the cracks for various reasons. However it is strongly believed these young people will highly benefit from the array of services provided with their life skills and self development.
